Change your mindset, change your eating, then change your life

We talk a lot about fasting. But the other side of that coin is feasting. Enjoying food! With more traditional dieting methods there is a notion that even when you are eating you should be counting your calories, monitoring portions, depriving yourself.

Fasting and Feasting work together. When it’s time to eat, eat! Changing your mindset about feasting times is a key component in finding success with your journey to health with intermittent fasting.

This week, Thrive Global has published an excerpt from the print version of Life in the Fasting Lane that addresses how to make your feasting the reward you need to keep you fasting in the future:

The goal is to make a feast an event with as little distraction as possible, gorgeous presentation, and top- quality foods you love. Then eat until you are full. Do not count the calories, limit the healthy fats, or stop eating because you perceive that others will think you are overeating. Eat until you are satisfied, satiated, and comfortable.
