Bacon or Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

We love side dishes that are simple, savory and nutrient dense. In this one, here’s what you get: bacon fat, butter, fiber, folate, vitamins A, C and K plus amino acids.

You can use soy sauce here, but we like liquid amino acids because it tastes just like soy sauce, but also includes amino acids, which are the link between the food we eat and assimilation for our body tissue. Lack of adequate amino acids may make it impossible for the vitamins and minerals to perform their specific duties.

We love paring this with a sous vide steak, grilled shrimp or topped with eggs over easy. Perfect for all meals.

There really isn’t much exact measuring to this, so it’s purely customization. You can wrap one strip of bacon around 3-4 asparagus, you can do the same with prosciutto. Or, you can use half a piece of bacon for one asparagus. It’s completely up to you! Same with the butter and amino acids - to your taste.
